Choose the Right Raingarden!

Oh, are you shopping for a rain garden? By which I mean, are you trying to design a raingarden that best serves your immediate needs and conditions? It is obviously much easier to utilize standardized Dos and Don'ts, particularly when delving into an endeavor that may be brand new to you. But some projects need to be designed for the conditions at hand, and raingardens fit that bill. To that end, the Oregon State University Stormwater Solutions website recently added a tool to help you assess how to best build a raingarden to capture rain and manage stormwaterr runoff.  While you're there, check out their rain garden calculator as well.
